To study the distribution model of lead in soil along highway polluted by vehicle exhaust,the concentration of lead in the soil samples along Chengyu highway had been detected and a model was set up using modified TKY model.The comparison between observed lead concentrations and simulated ones showed that:correlation cocfficient r=0.8772～0.9938;regession coefficient a=0.7739～0.8825 and variation coefficient s=0.0606～0.1255.All of these approached or attained reference standard of A rank.
