The photochemical reaction of pentane and sulfur dioxide were studied. A series of gaseous products such as alcohols, ketones, esters, sulfuric anhdride, carbon monooxide, carbon dioxide were identified by GC/MS and GC. The reaction kinetics and reaction mechanism were investigated. The influence of initial concentration of reactant on the photochemical reaction of pentane and sulfur dioxide was studied.
The volatile organic compounds have been separated from the sample in Northeast turf, and these were characterized by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). 42 compounds were identified using GC/MS library search.
Metabolism of pilocarpine in human urine was studied by high-performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometric method after single oral dose 10 mg pilocarpine hydrochloride to a healthy male volunteer. The urine sample was collected from 0 to 8 h after oral administration. The urine sample was prepared by solid phase extraction, and then was analyzed using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with a triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer in multiple reaction monitoring and product ion scan mode. Three metabolites were identified as the oxidative metabolite, pilocarpic acid and the glucuronide of pilocarpine.
The gaseous photochemical reaction of n-pentane and sulfur dioxide was studied.A series of gaseous products such as alcohols, ketones, acids, esters and inorganic compound were identified by GC/MS and GC. According to the characters of the compounds and the free radical theory, the free radical mechanism of this gaseous photochemical reaction was suggested. The free radical mechanism was verified directly by means of the gaseous free radicals measured by spin trapping-ESR methods in which PBN was selected as the spintrap.
