The paper reported the fluorometric characteristics of sweet potato extraction solution for the determination of Zn2+ ion.The maximum wavelength of excitation and emission of the extraction solution are 369nm and 440nm respectively. The fluorescence of sweet-Lpotato extraction solution is quenched while Zn2+ ion solution is added. The fluorescence intensity(ΔF) exhibits linear with concentration of Zn2+ solution in the range of 2×10-6 to 2×10-2mol·L-1.The present method for the determination of Zn2+ is green, sensitive, and easy.
A novel oxygen sensor based in tris(2,2′-bipyridine) ruthenium(Ⅱ),[Ru(bpy)3]Cl2 adsorbed onto silica particles codoped with metal-ions as support system was reported first in this paper. The oxygen-sensing properties were studied.Compared with reference(IN2/IO2-IRef),the relative fluorescence intensity was enhanced after codoped with La3+(10-3M) and decreased after codoped with Ag+(5.0×10-4M).The experiments of codoping with different concentration of Ag+ and La3+ showed that the relative fluorescence intensity was all decreased after different concentration of Ag+ were codoped with, but the result was contrary for La3+.We suggest that the former has formed dark-brown Ag2O which can adsorb a part of excited light, given rise to the decrease of fluorescence intensity. The increase of the latter probably because the energy transfer of La increased the fluorescence intensity.
