[Objective] The study aimed at predicting the T cell epitopes from proteins encoded by the specific RD1 region of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.[Method] By using bioinformatics software NetMHC Server, all possible peptides sequences from RD1 region of M.tuberculosis were analyzed in silico for the ability to bind to 34 alleles of HLA I and 9 alleles of HLA II.[Result] 1 580 peptides binding to 9 alleles of HLA II and 336 peptides binding to 34 alleles of HLA I were obtained by predication.[Conclusion] Identification of T cell epitopes from the proteins encoded by RD1 region may serve to define candidate antigens with potentials in specific diagnosis and development of new vaccines against TB.
