Applying characteristic parameter method of thermokinetics for 2 2 type opposing reactions, thermokinetics of the opposing reaction of nitroethane with trihydroxymethyl aminomethane in cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB), sodium dodcyl sulfate(SDS) and polycoxyethylene(9,5)p (1,1,3,3 tetramethylbutyl) pheno(Triton X 100) micellar solution was studied at 30℃.The results indicate that the forward reaction of this opposing reaction is catalyzed by CTAB,SDS and Triton X 100 micellar solutions, the backward reaction of this opposing reaction is inhibited by CTAB and SDS micellar solutions, but the backward reaction is not affected nearly by Triton X 100 micellar solution. The catalysis of surfactant micellar solutions on the opposing reaction was discussed with local concentration effect and staticelectricity effect of surfactant micelles.
Based on the interfacial model of a conduction calorimetr, a characteristic thermogram equation is suggested in this paper. Measurements of only two quantities such as the maximum peak height △m and its time tm, enables us to calculate the peak height at any interval by using this model. thermograms of alkaline hydrolysis of ethyl propionate and ethyl acetate have been measured itt 25℃, respectively. The themographic data calculated by using the characteristic thermogram equation are in reasonable agreement with those read from the thermograms.
