The experimental investigation on heat transfer performance of inverted evaporators in two-phase capillary pumped loops has been carried out in the paper .An open type evaporator was observed. The influences of different capillary structures, subcooled degrees of water at the inlet and inclination angles of the evaporator were studied. Some valuable conclusions (example for the optimal regions of the evaporator operation θ ≈ 30 ~ 60° and △Tsub≥1O° et al)have been obtained.
