[ Objective ] The paper was to accomplish the integration between ZigBee wireless network and Internet in environmental monitoring network for migra- tion of planthopper. [ Method] The program of multifunctional ZigBee gateway based on S3C2410 ARM9 microprocessor was proposed, and the hardware structure and principle of key modules were introduced in detail. [ Result] This gateway usedZigBee and GPRS wireless transmission techndogy to realize data communica- tion between sensor nodes and remote monitoring center. The application in practice showed that the wireless gateway had high stability and low packet loss rates to meet the demand for migration of planthopper environmental monitoring. [ Conclusion] The study provided reference for monitoring and early warning of planthop- per migration.
