The new N,N’-bis(squaryl)-3,6-pyridazine bis(methylamine) had been synthesized by the reaction 3,6-diformylpyridazine with 2-amino-1-propanol,2-(aminomethyl)phenol and squaric acid.The new compounds was confirmed by Infrared spectra,1H NMR and element analysis.The effect of metal ions on fluorescence characterization of the compound was investigated.The selective interaction between metal ions(Cu2+,Ni2+) and the compound led to obvious fluorescence quenching.
