A novel DNA cleavage conjugate of bromoarene and polyamide containing three N-methylimidazole rings was synthesized by the chloroform reaction and the DCC/HOBT coupling reaction.
In this research, an unusually dimeric G-quadruplex of d（GGGTGGGTGGGTGGGT） （SI）, the potent nanomolar HIV-1 integrase inhibitor, was detected by nuclear magnetic resonance （NMR）. This result has been confirmed by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry （ESI-MS） and circular dichroism （CD）.
